The Absinthe Collection
Absinthe is a green colored (or sometimes clear) distilled spirit that is highly alcoholic. It’s typically diluted with ice water being dripped over a sugar cube, which the slotted spoon below holds as it sits on top of the glass. Absinthe has quite a long history, and a dubious one, dating back two to three centuries. In some countries, it's still banned. It seems that the herbs used in its preparation made people crazy, a common thought that's still debated today. If you happen to get a bottle of "The Green Fairy", purchase one of these glasses and celebrate a drink that still make some people, countries, and authorities nervous!

Caring for your Pewter items: Pewter, like silver, may tarnish, but can easily be polished up to a brilliant lustrous shine using a brass or silver polishing wad then wipe with a dry cloth. PLEASE don't put your items into a dishwasher. The cleaning agents could corrode the surface of your item!
